Breakfast is served in Fisher Street Restaurant each morning. If you need to checkout before this time, please request an early breakfast when making your booking.

Delicious bar food is available in Sidney’s Bar and Garden Lounge every day from 12 noon until 9pm. Afternoon Tea is available every day between 12 noon and 4pm but must be booked 48 hours prior to arrival.

The Health and Fitness Club at Actons is open to hotel residents and club members.  

Monday to Friday 6:30am – 9:00pm (last entry 8:30pm) 

Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays 8:00am – 8:00pm (last entry 7:30pm).

The swimming pool closes for swimming lessons from 3pm to 5pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and on Fridays between 7pm and 8pm.

Yes. We have our own private car park for residents which is free of charge.

Actons Hotel is situated on the waterfront in the centre of Kinsale, with multiple pubs, restaurants, and shops minutes away by foot.

Actons Hotel does not have an onsite salon. If you require salon services, please contact us on +353 (0) 21 477 9900 so we can help you make arrangements.

Yes. If you check in early and your room is not ready, we have a safe luggage room where your belongings can be kept while you explore the town.

Yes. If you need any of your belongings kept secure, simply drop them to reception where we can keep them in deposit bags within our safe, which cannot be tampered with.

Yes. We require a credit/debit card to secure your booking. Payment will not be taken until departure unless you have booked an advance purchase offer. Please read the terms and conditions carefully. When you confirm your booking, there will be a €1 pending transaction which will be returned to your card within a few days. Upon check-in, we will require a pre-authorisation on a credit card; this will be released back onto your card should you wish to settle your bill using a different method of payment. Otherwise, the pre-authorisation can be used to complete your payment method.  If you have a debit card, pre-authorisation is not possible, and we will take full payment at the time of check-in.

Should the need to cancel arise, for Guest Bedroom reservations: please advise us 72 hours prior to your date of arrival to avoid any cancellation fee for reservations up to 3 nights.

For Suite reservations: please advise us 7 days prior to your date of arrival to avoid any cancellation fee for reservations up to 3 nights. 

When booking for more than 4 nights, please advise us 7 days prior to the date of arrival to avoid any cancellation fees. This policy does not cover the ‘Advance Purchase’ rate which requires full prepayment and carries a non-refundable clause in acceptance at time of booking. Please note that cancellation policies can vary throughout other sites, always read your terms and conditions before completing your booking.

Yes. We have highspeed Wi-Fi across the entire hotel which is complimentary for all our guests.

Absolutely. However, we ask that any specific requirements be forwarded to the hotel prior to your arrival. We also offer a breakdown of allergens on all our menus.

For the comfort of all guests, only Guide Dogs and Assistance Animals are allowed in the hotel.

Yes, there are hair dryers in each of the rooms.

Yes, there are tea and coffee making facilities in each of the rooms here at Actons Hotel Kinsale.

No. Under Irish law, smoking is not permitted in any part of the hotel or in the guestrooms. Smoking in a bedroom will incur a penalty of €150.

Irons and ironing boards are available on request.

You can request a late check out, however this is subject to availability and may incur a surcharge of €30.
